Omtale fra Den Norske Bokdatabasen
In the present paper the author suggests and describes mathematical methods to analyze nucleic acids and proteins. As a mathematical working tool, the author launches a polymer algebra (application of boolean algebra) in general, and more specificially a polymer circuit theory (application of Shannon circuit algebra). The theory is based on a method where DNA is mathematically connected with a protein polymer aided by circuits behaving in analogy with electronic circuits.
